The EU discussed issues related to the fight against terrorism with representatives of each country, including assessments of the terrorist threat, according to a press release from the European External Action Service (EEAS). More specifically, they discussed concrete areas of cooperation, such as the fight against radicalisation, legal proceedings, and the rehabilitation and reintegration of returnees. The partners also discussed cooperation with third countries, including in multilateral fora. The EU has also emphasised the need to anchor respect for the rule of law and human rights among counter-terrorism measures. The next dialogue will be held in Brussels. (PLD)
