Recycling of packaging in Italy reached 76.7% in 2024, according to Conai, a private national organisation funded by companies

04/07/25 (Agence Europe) – Packaging recycling in Italy reached 76.7% in 2024, declared the Italian National Packaging Consortium (Conai), on Wednesday 2 July, based on its own data. This 76.7% represents the recycling of just over 10 million tonnes of packaging and packaging waste out of a total of almost 14 million tonnes.
