European ministers to debate ‘Oceans Pact’ and fishing quotas for 2026 on 24 June

On Tuesday 24 June in Luxembourg, the European fisheries ministers will be discussing total allowable catches (TACs) and quotas for 2026, as well as the content of the ‘European Oceans Pact’. 

Ministers will be able to react to the presentation of the European Commission’s communication on fishing quotas for 2026 (see EUROPE B13655A9).

In ‘other business’, Sweden will be talking (https://aeur.eu/f/hho) about restoring fish stocks in the Baltic Sea.
