ACER publishes two new tools aiming to improve transparency in wholesale energy markets

16/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 15 May, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) presented a REMIT data “reference centre” to host information on EU wholesale energy market data as well as a single inside information access point. The agency was tasked with doing this as part of the 2024 revision of REMIT, a regulation that aims to prevent abuse on the wholesale energy market.
