72% of documents listed in EU Council register were public at end of 2024

12/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – In 2024, the number of initial applications submitted under Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 governing access to documents held by the institutions of the European Union totalled 2,872, according to an annual report by the Council of the European Union published on Monday 12 May.
