European Christian Democrat family “ready to lead Europe in years to come”

On the strength of its victory in the European elections in June 2024 and its current dominance within the European Council, the European People’s Party (EPP) says it is ready to “lead Europe in the years to come”, in keeping with the Bucharest Congress at which it adopted its political programme in March 2024 (see EUROPE B13366A1).
