10/04/25 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 10 April, the European Commission published updated practical guidelines for supporting ‘European Research Infrastructure Consortia’ (ERICs). These guidelines are designed to help candidates apply to become ERICs. They will also provide existing ERICs with useful clarifications on the applicable legal framework. They include: - a revised structure, better aligned with the ERIC regulation; - adaptations to reflect the technological and legal developments of the last decade; - additional guidance on issues beyond the scope of the ERIC Regulation; - updated appendices, including best practice for reporting. Since its launch in 2009, 31 ERICs have been created and others are being developed. For more information, go to https://aeur.eu/f/gd7 (AD)
