On Thursday 10 April, the European Commission announced €282.5 million in humanitarian aid to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people in Chad, Sudan and neighbouring countries.
In Sudan, €160 million will support people in regions severely affected by conflict, focusing on areas facing famine and food insecurity, as well as those hosting large forcibly displaced populations.
