24/03/25 (Agence Europe) – The European Commissioner for the Environment, Water Resilience and the Circular Economy, Jessika Roswall, is organising three round tables in Brussels in preparation for the future ‘Water Resilience Strategy’. Water efficiency, water scarcity, pollution and water-related risks will be on the agenda, with the following themes: ‘Water, agriculture and the food supply chain’, on 25 March; ‘Water and industry’, on 27 March, and ‘Water and finance’, on 28 March. In addition to the main water-related challenges, experience of water management and innovation will be shared. “By bringing stakeholders together, we can stimulate innovation and turn challenges into opportunities”, said Ms Roswall. The European Commission’s strategy for water resilience is due to be published in spring 2025. (FS)
