Ukraine Facility - EU Council approves a third instalment of almost €3.5 billion

17/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 17 March, the EU Council approved the payment of non-repayable grants and loans to Ukraine totalling €3.5 billion under the ‘Ukraine Facility’. It concluded that the country had met the necessary conditions set out in the Ukraine Plan to receive this payment, with the implementation of 13 measures relating in particular to energy, agriculture, simplifying border crossing procedures and strategic and critical raw materials.
