EU sanctions Al-Azaim Media Foundation - media wing of Islamic State in Khorasan

17/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 17 March, the EU Council decided to add the Al-Azaim Media Foundation to the EU’s autonomous list of persons, groups, undertakings and entities associated with the Islamic State and al-Qaeda. The Al-Azaim Media Foundation is the media arm of the Islamic State’s Khorasan province. This decision sanctions 15 individuals and 7 groups.
