11/03/25 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 10 March in Brussels, the High Representative of the Union, Kaja Kallas and European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Síkela, met with Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe. “During our meeting, I emphasised that the territorial sovereignty and integrity of the DRC is essential and must be fully respected. I also stressed that there is no military solution to the conflict. Only political dialogue on its root causes can lead to sustainable, lasting peace”, declared Mr Síkela on the X network, calling on the parties to the conflict to respect regional peace processes. On Wednesday, the European Commissioner begins a series of visits to Central Asia to implement cooperation projects focusing on essential raw materials, clean energy and digital connectivity (see other news).
