11/03/25 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 10 March, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) found in its report to the Hungarian national regulatory authority (NRA) MEKH that the reference price methodology (RPM) proposed for gas transmission tariffs complied with the requirements of the Network Code on Harmonised Transmission Tariff structures (NC TAR). However, it pointed out that it was unable to fully assess the compliance of the flow-based charge, as the relevant NRA decision is only available in Hungarian. However, ACER referred to its 2021 analysis, assessing the compliance of the proposed tariffs at that time and concluded that the proposed non-transmission services also comply with EU rules.
