24/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – At the Foreign Affairs Council on Monday 24 February, the Council of the European Union appointed Latvian diplomat Eduards Stiprais as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for Central Asia for an initial term of two years, succeeding Terhi Hakala.
