Jacques Delors Institute calls for unified European framework on State aid with view to ‘Clean Industrial Deal’

24/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 24 February, the Jacques Delors Institute published a position paper on the financing of the Clean Industrial Deal with a particular focus on the role of State aid. Its author, Andreas Eisl, believes that the EU must harmonise and simplify State aid criteria and increase coordination at European level on national spending in order to target funding effectively and better direct it towards common objectives.
