10/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Sunday 9 February, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called for the security of strategic infrastructures to be strengthened, welcoming NATO's ‘Baltic Sentry’ initiative, patrols to deter further incidents against allied pipelines and submarine cables (see EUROPE B13557A2).
