European Commission will present its Electrification Action Plan in first quarter of 2026

29/01/25 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has finally indicated in its ‘Competitiveness Compass’, which it unveiled on Wednesday 29 January (see other news), that the Electrification Action Plan will be presented in the first quarter of 2026, at the same time as a package for European networks. Cillian O’Donoghue, political director of Eurelectric, representing the European electricity sector, expressed concern that a provisional version of the text (see EUROPE B13565A1)...
