14/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 14 January, the European Union provisionally concluded two anti-dumping investigations, imposing provisional duties on flat-rolled products of tinned iron or non-alloy steel from China and on Chinese lysine (an amino acid). For the first product, the tariff varies between 14.1% and 62.6% of the net border price. For the second, the rate ranges from 58.3% to 84.8%. On the same day, the European Commission also announced the forthcoming expiry of the anti-dumping duty on certain Chinese polyvinyl alcohols. It therefore calls on interested parties to submit their request for the measure to be re-examined, if they so wish. To see the texts go to https://aeur.eu/f/f0u (LM)
