On 2 December 2024, the European Commission announced the launch of the ‘FOREU4ALL’ community of practice, a project designed to support the 64 European university alliances and other players in the higher education sector, such as student organisations and university associations.
‘FOREU4ALL’ is a platform dedicated to peer learning and the dissemination of best practice. Its priorities include setting up thematic groups to explore key topics, developing guidelines and case studies, and organising events such as webinars, workshops and meetings.
The goal of these actions is to promote exchanges, encourage the use of transferable models and consolidate a dynamic community within European higher education.
The initiative also plans to involve experts to enrich the political dialogue and build the capacity of the alliances. Using collaborative tools and a structured framework, ‘FOREU4ALL’ aims to strengthen the impact of the alliances’ results while broadening their reach to the entire higher education sector.
