EU releases €1.5 million for victims of cyclone Trami in Philippines

30/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – In response to the destruction caused by tropical cyclone Trami in the Philippines, the European Union announced on Wednesday 30 October that it was providing €1.5 million in emergency humanitarian aid. This funding is intended to support the populations of the worst-hit regions, particularly Bicol (south east) and Calabarzon (south of Manila), by providing essential aid to more than half a million displaced people.
