European Commission abandons donor-recipient model in favour of international partnerships based on mutual “resilience”

In a communication published on Wednesday 2 October, the European Commission clarifies its strategy for international partnerships. Three years after the launch of its ‘Global Gateway’ investment plan (see EUROPE B12844A7), it confirms that it is reshaping its development cooperation model in response to the changing global geopolitical and economic landscape.
