02/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – The vast majority of EU Member States (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden) plan to submit their multiannual budget plans in October in accordance with the revised Stability and Growth Pact, according to information gathered by Agence Europe. Four countries will submit their plans later: Belgium and Austria at the end of December 2024, Romania at the end of January 2025 and Lithuania at the end of April 2025. After evaluation, the European Commission approved the requested deadlines. Finally, two countries - Denmark and Malta - have already sent their budget documents to the European level (see EUROPE 13489/22).
