24/09/24 (Agence Europe) – One year after the introduction of the Data Governance Act, on Tuesday 24 September the European Commission published a new practical guide for companies affected by the regulations. The guide is intended to help implement the DGA on the ground, with the ultimate aim of creating a European single market for data and facilitating its cross-border and cross-sector circulation across the EU. The document details, for example, what types of data are considered to be protected, and the conditions under which data held by the public sector can be shared. This guide will be updated periodically and complements the discussions held at the European Data Innovation Board. See the guide: https://aeur.eu/f/djq (IS)
