25/06/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 24 June, the European Union adopted restrictive measures against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Research and Self-Reliance Jihad Organisation (IRGC SSJO), which, according to the EU, is involved in Iran’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and missile programmes and the transfer of Iranian UAVs to Russia in support of its war of aggression against Ukraine. Twelve individuals and nine entities have now been sanctioned for Iran’s military support for Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and for armed groups and entities in the Middle East and the Red Sea region.
