EU calls on Bogota to comply with WTO ruling in frozen fries dispute

Brussels, 03/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – On 31 May, the European Commission launched a compliance procedure as part of its World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute with Colombia. The EU considers that Bogota is still not complying with the ruling handed down by the WTO’s alternative appellate body in December 2022 concerning tariffs on Belgian, Dutch and German frozen fries (see EUROPE B13089A4).
