03/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 3 June, the European Commission announced the distribution of 35,511 passes to residents of Member States aged 18 and over, to enable them to travel free of charge in Europe this summer. Young people benefiting from the pass will be able to travel alone or in groups of up to five people between 1 July 2024 and 30 September 2025. This is the result of the latest phase of the DiscoverEU programme, which is part of the Erasmus+ programme. More than 180,000 young people applied for the final round in April 2024. The educational dimension of DiscoverEU will be reinforced by pre-departure information sessions and meetings offered to participants.
