European Parliament approves tighter rules and creation of a European authority

At its plenary session in Strasbourg on Wednesday 25 April, the European Parliament validated the agreements with the EU Council on texts aimed at strengthening the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT) (see EUROPE B13374A27).
