MEPs approve Samoa Agreement between EU and 79 ACP countries

On Tuesday 19 March, with 13 votes in favour, one against and 4 abstentions, the MEPs on the European Parliament’s Committee on Development (DEVE) approved the signing in Apia on Wednesday 15 November of the Samoa Agreement between the EU and 79 member countries of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (ACP) (see EUROPE B13293A19).
