Ambitious public investment is needed to meet common challenges, according to EU regions and cities

The declaration of the 10th European Summit of Regions and Cities, adopted on Tuesday 19 March in Mons (Belgium), calls for “ambitious public investments, fit for purpose and supported by increased budgetary capacity, exploring new EU own resources” in order to respond to common challenges (see EUROPE B13373A10).
