Provisional agreement on industrial designs approved by European Parliament

14/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 14 March, MEPs approved the provisional agreement reached in December on the Directive on the legal protection of designs and the Regulation on Community designs (see EUROPE B13308A10). These two texts aim to facilitate the protection of industrial designs while adapting EU law in this area to the challenges of a digital world and 3D printing.
