European Parliament supports candidacy of new Italian member

14/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – With 316 votes in favour, 186 against and 31 abstentions, the plenary session of the European Parliament on Thursday 14 March endorsed Carlo Alberto Manfredi Selvaggi, nominated by the Italian government, as a candidate for the Court of Auditors of the European Union. Mr Manfredi Selvaggi has worked at the Italian Court of Auditors since 1997: as Substitute Prosecutor General until 2005, then as Deputy Prosecutor General until 2021. He has been a coordinator...
