European Parliament and EU Council negotiators close to agreement on exchange of information on road traffic offences

Negotiators from the European Parliament and the EU Council are due to meet again late on Tuesday 12 March to discuss the directive facilitating cross-border exchange of information on road safety offences. According to a European source contacted by Agence Europe on Monday 11 March, a compromise is close to being reached.
