On Monday 11 March, as part of its industrial strategy, the European Commission published a transition pathway for the agri-food industry. The document, created in collaboration with stakeholders, proposes actions to ensure that the agri-food sector - in particular the processing industry - is competitive, sustainable and resilient.
This must be done while paying attention to the remuneration of all parties in the supply chain and limiting inflation for consumers, the document warns....
