Ten finalists for European Prize for Women Innovators announced

21/02/24 (Agence Europe)On Tuesday 20 February, the European Commission unveiled the 10 finalists for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) new European Prize for Women Innovators. The prize is divided into three categories. The ‘Women Innovators’ category will reward women founders and co-founders of innovative companies in the EU and associated countries. The winner will receive €100,000 and the other two finalists €70,000 and €50,000 respectively. One category will reward ‘promising young women innovators under the age of 35’. The winner will receive €50,000 and the two runners-up will receive €30,000 and €20,000 respectively. Finally, a category will reward women in the EIT community for their leadership. The winner will receive €50,000 and the two runners-up €30,000 and €20,000 each. The winners will be announced during R&I Week on 18 March. Link to the list of finalists: https://aeur.eu/f/axi (EV)
