EU Member States approve agreement with European Parliament on revision of Stability Pact

21/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – The ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) confirmed the agreement reached with the representatives of the European Parliament on the reform of the Stability and Growth Pact (see EUROPE B13351A3) on Wednesday 21 February, 2 months after the agreement reached by the Ecofin Council (see EUROPE B13318A13). “Some countries have made comments, but none have said that they cannot support the text”, said a European source.
