With ‘Communities for Climate’, European Commission mobilises local action against climate change

On Wednesday 21 February, the European Commission launched Communities for Climate (C4C), a pilot project designed to stimulate and support 50 local environmental initiatives across Europe. The aim is to encourage concrete action in the fight against climate change.

The C4C programme targets key areas such as the restoration of biodiversity, water management, the development of the circular economy and the adoption of renewable energy, in both urban and rural areas. The aim is to create...
