EMIR – EU Council approves agreement reached with European Parliament

15/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 14 February, the Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) approved the revision of the regulation and directive governing market infrastructure (EMIR), as provisionally agreed in early February by the negotiators of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU (see EUROPE B13345A24).
