On Thursday 25 January, the European Commission made payments corresponding to the pre-financing of the ‘REPowerEU’ chapters included in the post-Covid-19 recovery plans of ten Member States.
The following amounts were paid: - 145.1 million to Belgium (see EUROPE 13294/25); - 585.1 million to Croatia in the form of grants and loans (see EUROPE 13297/17); - 20.9 million in Cyprus (see EUROPE 13294/25); - 25.4 million to Finland (see EUROPE 13297/17); - 158.7 million to Greece (see EUROPE 13297/17); - 551.2 million to Italy (see EUROPE 13300/6) ; - 26.9 million to Latvia (see EUROPE 13294/25); - 288 million to Romania in the form of grants (see EUROPE 13297/17); - 340 million to Spain in the form of loans (see EUROPE 13262/14).
