EU announces €807 million in support for 38 military mobility projects

On Wednesday, 24 January, the European Commission announced funding for 38 additional military mobility projects.

With a budget of €807 million, these projects—in 18 Member States—will upgrade key transport infrastructure so as to enable dual use for both civilian and defence transport.

In particular, they include constructing and upgrading railway infrastructure in Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, and Sweden and improving...
