On Monday 22 January, European fishermen, represented within the European Association of Fish Producers’ Organisations (EAPO) and Europêche, criticised the French decision to ban fishing for a month (22 January-20 February) in the Bay of Biscay in order to curb the accidental capture of dolphins and porpoises in the Atlantic Ocean.
