04/01/24 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what it had indicated on Wednesday 3 January (see EUROPE 13320/14), the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council told EUROPE on 4 January that the date of 22 January for a first trilogue on the directive on workers on digital platforms was no longer valid and that the timetable had changed. A new trilogue date will be set with the European Parliament following the resumption of informal discussions on this dossier, which was rejected by the Member States on 22 December. (SP)
