Poland, Hungary and Lithuania receive pre-financing payments for ‘REPowerEU’ chapter of their recovery plans

At the end of 2023, the European Commission disbursed the automatic pre-financing payments for the ‘REPowerEU’ chapters of the post-Covid-19 recovery plans for Poland, Hungary and Lithuania.

Poland has received a pre-financing payment of €5.1 billion in the form of loans and grants as part of its €59.8 billion recovery plan, including €34.5 billion in loans (see EUROPE B13297A17). Hungary has received €779.5 million in loans as part of its €10.4 billion recovery plan,...
