On Wednesday 6 December, the European Commission announced that it had updated the list of approved recycling facilities for large ships flying the flag of an EU Member State.
The updated list now includes 45 ship recycling facilities, of which 25 are in the EU, nine in Turkey, seven in Norway, three in the United Kingdom and one in the United States.
