European Commission takes Bulgaria to court for non-compliance with directive on victims’ rights

16/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 November, the European Commission brought proceedings against Bulgaria before the Court of Justice of the European Union for failure to transpose the 2012 directive on victims’ rights into its national legislation(see EUROPE B10704A15). The deadline for transposition was 16 November 2015.
