European Commission awards 2023 REGIOSTARS prizes for ground-breaking projects

Elisa Ferreira, the Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, awarded, on Thursday 16 November in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the 2023 REGIOSTARS prizes to seven outstanding and innovative projects from all over Europe, financed by Cohesion Policy funds.

Ms Ferreira said that these projects “clearly demonstrate the added value of Cohesion Policy in responding to the needs of citizens at a local level”.

The REGIOSTARS awards are an annual competition organised by the Commission since 2008....
