EU releases €10.5 million to help people in Myanmar and Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh

16/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 November, the European Commission announced the release of €10.5 million in emergency aid to address the needs of people in Myanmar and of Rohingya refugees and their host communities living in Bangladesh. In Myanmar, the funds - totalling €7 million - will be used to provide food and nutritional aid and help partners provide healthcare and access to other essential services, such as water and sanitation.
