Corruption, Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa resigns

07/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 7 November, the Portuguese Prime Minister, the socialist António Costa, announced that he had tendered his resignation in the wake of a corruption scandal that led to the indictment of one of his ministers and his chief of staff. “The duties of prime minister are not compatible with any suspicion of my integrity.
