06/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Executive Board of the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced, on Monday 6 November, that, following work carried out with stakeholders, it had published a Code of Conduct designed to establish minimum standards that consultants offering services to applicants to its calls for tenders undertake to apply. The EIC stresses the importance for the innovation-related consultancy market of promoting transparency, professionalism and ethical practices such as confidentiality, the absence of conflicts of interest and clear pricing. Adherence to the Code is voluntary. Nevertheless, the EIC encourages its candidates to ensure that the consultancy firms they use comply with the provisions of the code. Companies are invited to display the Code label on their website. Link to the code: https://aeur.eu/f/9ea Link to label to download: https://aeur.eu/f/9eb (EV)
