Francisco Millán Mon elected first vice-chair of European Parliament’s Committee on Fisheries

24/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 23 October, the European Parliament’s Committee on Fisheries appointed Francisco Millán Mon (EPP, Spanish) as its first vice-chair. He is replacing another long-standing member of the Committee on Fisheries, Peter van Dalen (EPP, Dutch). “It’s a source of particular satisfaction, since I’m well aware of the importance of fisheries and the entire chain of the maritime industry in Spain and, in particular, in my home region, Galicia—Europe’s leading fishing region”, said a delighted Francisco Millán Mon.
