Following on from their meeting in March, European leaders are due to take stock of the recent measures proposed to strengthen the EU’s long-term competitiveness at the European Council meeting in Brussels on 29 and 30 June. However, discussion is unlikely to play a major role in the meeting, according to several diplomats, who insist that some of the proposals are still too recent.
